Container desiccants
Product description
Container desiccants are primarily used in shipping containers to absorb the "container rain" formed by condensed water drops generated by the water vapor in the container as a result of marine and humid climate and great change in temperature between day and night within the container during the ocean transportation and storage in order to reduce the moisture content in the air in the container to prevent the formation of container rain.
Currently the raw materials used to produce container desiccants are: calcium chloride, silica, montmorillonite and lime. Montmorillonite is used as the preferred raw material of container desiccants for its strong and durable adsorption capacity and outstanding safety performance.
